Trek has real build quality, I have an 16 year old SingleTrek in my basement and the frame is still in really good shape after all these years of severe beating. I have changed mostly all parts up some XT pieces because of wear though.

So enjoy your ride man, if the company's still the same you'll enjoy it long time!

Very nice! Trek and Specialized are probably my 2 favorite bike companies. I'd like to get a new bike but what I want is a little outside my price range, something like a FSRxc.

I'm ridding a '00 Giant Iguana SE. Below is a recent picture after installing some Specialized Eskar tires (26"x2.3"). I need to get a new rear shifter.

Nice wheels... I had a Raliegh M60 with Shimano Deore LX drivetrain stolen out of my garage a couple years back... Haven't had the money to get a new one and then I started driving, so...

What front fork on the Trek?

Trek website says SR Suntour XCT V2 --> http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/2008/mountain_hardtail/3_series/3900/

Nice bike! I have a Cannondale Jekyll 400 and a GT Avalanche 3.0 as my bikes. The Cannondale is too small now, but boy did I love that bike when I was little. I ride the GT when I need it now, it does fine for what I need.

I want to replace the frame of the Cannondale to bigger frame some time.
