Post your ideas for what you guys would like to compete against your xtreme peers. We will be back in a couple months with another contest and if we like your idea than it could give you the edge.

Something that involves overclocking :D My creative edge lags behind my hardware/benching edge.

Fugger once organised a contest in which you had to hit a certain number in 3DMark01 (10005 or so), I liked that: everyone could participate and it's still about skill :).

+1 Would be fun. much like the 100k 01 all air in "Pedros Fav Game" thread.

Yeah, but the number was that low that anyone could compete, even with low-end hardware.

QFT. The more people entering a contest, the better. I also like the ideas of hitting a certain number in 3DMark.

That would be a good contest. We would bench here to get a decent score that is reachable on modern hardware. I liked the lowest 03 score contest a few months back. I pulled an old K2 266 system out and installed Windows 2000 on it and never got the chance to actually bench for that contest but it still was a fun idea. I think that was an MSI contest.

I personally like overclocking video's like this one (http://youtube.com/watch?v=nbRscGUfIlo). So what about an overclocking video contest? Either a XFX commercial video or a general (XFX) overclocking video for example.

Nice video. The problem with a competition like that is that LN2, DICE, and Phase will almost certainly end up being the most extreme videos and though this population probably has the highest percentage of people who have the capability of doing that it still alienates a lot of the members.

Anyone know what band was in the background?

2x XS is far from a Northamerican forum or website, most users or a big part of them are from around the world.

Write a short essay why you should win an XFX product.

how about whoever can get the highest clock out of an XFX card (on air to keep it fair) something like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150241

http://c1.neweggimages.com/NeweggImage/productimage/14-150-241-09.jpg

maybe not even requiring it to be a XFX card would be best then anyone who had an 8400GS laying around could join in

i say non-XFX cause i like the MSI version of the 8400GS better
