xbox 360 games resolution

xbox 360 games are writing on the pal or ntsc what was the resolution them :confused::confused:

1280*720 or 1980*1080....

AFAIK, 99% of Xbox360 and PS3 games coming out all run at 720p (1280x720) and are upconverted to 1080i/p (1920x1080).

Quite alot of the games are rendered at a lower res (halo 3 is in 1152x640) then upscaled to 720p/1080p.
