Hey guys, decided to take the watercooling route but just need to cool gpu and NB - my specs are:

q6700
4gb dominator ram
maximus formula
780w power supply (tagan)
3870 x2.

here is what I have come up with:

what am i missing (bear in mind this contains everything I think i will need) - what do i need for mounting etc.

thanks a lot,
Joey

Looks good, you need 1/2" g1/4 fittings, And 2 1/2"xG3/8 fittings for the rad.

i'm British so its probably the best UK retailer - overclockers.co.uk

ive worked out how i'm gonna attach the rad to my case (need to do a bit of DIY) but still having a bit of trouble thinking up how to attach the mcres and pump - do they come with mountings?

also, how many 1/2 x g3/8 fittings do i need? (they are SO expensive!)

thanks so much for the replies guys, helped me muchly

Get some metal fittings, 1/2" G1/4" for the MCW60 and Micro-Res and G3/8 for the Rad. And why not cool the CPU, PA120.3 would be enough for CPU + GPU + NB + SB + much more. Also don't get the pre-mixed coolant, rather use distilled water + Anti-algae and your done, if you want some UV get the Feser UV dye. If you wanna save some money the Yate Loon mediums will be good enough for the PA compared to the Sharkoons.

Which case do you have ?

sorry for long response delay - case: Tagan El Diablo

thanks for those James although ive foudn that ocers is the only place that sells everything i want - dotn wanna pay multiple delivery fees.

i've already got a thermalright ultra extreme which i recently purchased so ill leave that in for a while (plus its all silver and shiny).

if im just cooling nb and gpu would it be better to go for a PA120.2?

I just thought i'd get the best possible cooling for these two and when i come into more money with my summer job get another loop to cool sb and cpu.
