Nice parts you've selected!
I think I'm going to try that XSPC restop myself, looks slick.

I will buy the new nVidia geforce GTx280, for this I don't WC 8800gts.
Then I will WC 790i, but I don't know compatible blocks for this...

What fans are good for the radiator??

For fans on the radiators, try some Yate Loons from Petra's - they ship international as far as I know.

EK Waterblocks makes blocks that will work with the 790i. Since you're in Europe, might be easiest to order straight from them.
North bridge block (http://ekwaterblocks.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_32&products_id=260&osCsid=592a7e8573c4df9c5235fd07b3a080ce)
South bridge block (http://ekwaterblocks.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_32&products_id=262&osCsid=592a7e8573c4df9c5235fd07b3a080ce) - this one might interfere with the GTX 280's stock cooler, it does with 9800GX2's
MOSFET part 1 (http://ekwaterblocks.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_48&products_id=272)
MOSFET part 2 (http://ekwaterblocks.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_48&products_id=274)
All those waterblocks are also available with black Acetal tops instead of the acrylic for 3 Euros extra each.

Thanks for the info!!

And wich its better for radiator??:

SilverStone SST-FM121B 120mm Case Fan (110 CFM, 39.5 dBA) (http://www.petrastechshop.com/siss12cafan.html)
120mm Yate Loon D12SH-12 Case Fan - Black (88 CFM, 40 dBA) (http://www.petrastechshop.com/12yalod1cafa1.html)
120mm Scythe SY1225SL12H "Slip Stream" Case Fan (88.11 CFM, 33 dBA) (http://www.petrastechshop.com/12scsysstcaf3.html)

I have got 1 Silverstone FM121 now, with two more I can use there for the radiator...

Yates for sure. Specialy if you can order from petras tech shop. they have the best Yates out there, for some strange reason. but Yates are awsome on rads and their cheap. just dont mount them horizontaly b/c they are sleeve bearing.

i would suggest going for scythes SFLEX-F fans (fluid bearing) its a good investment for your rad fans...

+1 on the Loons. They are relatively cheap and are quiet [get the mid speed one since you have a 120.3]

Scythe - Ultra Kaze 2000 RPM (http://www.coolmod.com/product.aspx?p=4247&t=14&c=1627), Its works fine??

The Sunbeam gets my vote for having 30W per channel.

I love the Ultra Kazes but they tend to be one the noisy side of the fan fence [mid speed Loons are make less noise according to my ears which might be a tad messed up].

septim
06-08-2008, 04:42 AM
ultra kaze is good. but of course you could invest in something better, last longer...

fan controller: any of above 2.. kaze master has nice look, may go well with your theme, rheobus extreme has functionality and can handle good loads...

inonefly
06-08-2008, 04:49 AM
nice specs and pics, keep the pics coming :D

I have both the sunbeam and kaze, i prefer the kaze for the looks plus the temp/rpm monitor. becarefull with the feser one stuff, i had the purple premixed stuff runnig in my loop for a week, and it stained the xspc res top, not very bad but o had to use some rice to clean it, im using distilled water now

Janno

those antec cases are friggin awesome for air, but terribly small for wc :p:

Then, I will buy Scythe Kaze Master Fan Controller, but I'm not decided yet to the fans I will putin radiator...

The radiator...I'm not decided yet...but I will put in top case or in back face with separator, wich is the best option?

Thankss!

One question!!

Wich its the best loop for me??

With this:

http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg140/mgneku/DSC07933.jpg

Wich is better?

This??

Loop 1: Pump-> VGA -> CPU -> Rad-> Res -> Pump ( This loop is more clean and less restrictive)

http://www.pctunerup.com/up/results/_200808/20080818051822_Loop1.JPG

This??

Loop 2: Pump -> Rad -> CPU -> GPU -> Res -> Pump ( Use a Bitspower Crystal 90º Fitting in pump exit)

http://www.pctunerup.com/up/results/_200808/20080818051830_Lopp2.JPG

Or other??

Thanks a lot guys!

you NEED to cool you CPU first,

It may look messier, but temps will be ALOT cooler!

No it won't it is a closed loop system, the water will come to an equilibrium temp.

Manyga: Choose the loop with the least restriction. That means the loop with the least tubing and 90 fittings

Thanks guys!!

But, There is a lot of difference with the vga before the cpu???

MomijiTMO

The temperature will be uniform. Put whatever crazy order you want but do keep in mind that extra tubing will decrease pressure by a tiny amount.

To reiterate, you won't see a difference.

Well, today I finished building my loop, I'm very happy with the result. Temperatures are impressive!

The next update of the loop is add a good block to the motherboard because the southbridge is very hot, about 80º!

I think that the new block Bitspower can be good, but I still have not seen results of this block ...

HOLY CRAP THAT BLACK UV LIQUID LOOKS AWESOME!

On a side note, what do you think of the SH fans? Noisy? I was planning on going with medium but Petra's are out of stock so I'm gonna go with high instead and undervolt them with the same fan controller, I just wondered if they were still able to run silently :)

Quick note: It looks like your CPU > GPU tube could be ever so slightly shorted to avoid bending past the barb if you see what I mean, it would exert less force pushing the GPU down.
