hm, sorry for the n00bie question, but I'm new in this area. I planning on taking an Acer 6920G in a month or two and I'm interested is it possible to put 800Mhz in it, it uses a P965 Express chipset and it seems almost every today's laptop comes with 667MHz memory, but I want more :D So my question is are there any options in those laptop BIOSes to change the divider or sth like that?
thnx for your answers ;)

Yes, you can do it, but most lappies don't support it. I also have 4GB of PC6400 in my Dell, it runs at a lower speeds. Of course, you do get super low-latencies. I believe I'm running 1:2 (553) @ 3-3-3-10.

thnx for help
