This is an AMD/ATI, Danger Den, Crucial, Smooth Creations, IZ3d, and Performance PC's sponsored project . . . .

The build's pupose is to showcase the Spider platform and Crossfire X. I am basically building a Ruby-like chick who will be known as Cherry X (Cherry for her red hair and X for Crossfire X).

The computer will be housed in a powerpack backpack. Cherry X will have dual plasma weapons that slide over each hand.

Well I got a new tshirt on her (temporary clothing) and got her some cool boots . . .

CPU Killah cooked up a prototype of her power pack. We still have to add a place to mount the GPUS (I have two 15" PCI-E ribbons so they do not have to be right on the mobo).

He will make the unit a bit taller so we can watercool the cpu. The PSU will be mounted in the mannequin. I think we will use a single Feser 240 rad to cool it all (not meant for maximum ocing folks).

He also designed part of the plasma pistols.

if you look at it you will see places for straps, it will be a backpack which will have cables running to the plasma weapons she holds

On a little more mature and serious note, this along with your other 2 builds sound very interesting can't wait to see more. You are thinking of locating the GPU cards away from the MB? Where did you find cables for that? That could make for some creative builds and deal with the problem of video cards getting so large especially with blocks and placement on the MB. Do you think there will be any performance issue with adding a few feet to the gpu connections?

uhhh, my wife came up with the Autopsy idea . . .she is cool with all this. Very secure woman.

As for my son (7) . . .lol . . .I think him seeing good role models (parents who have been married 19 years . . .to eachother . . .never previously married . . .not drug users, etc) and a Dad who quit his career to stay at home with his son instead of him being in daycare . . .that is what matters . . .seeing a latex-laden maiden with huge tatas is not going to scar him for life . . .at least not too bad. ;) I only play GTA4 when he is at school . . .

How long are the cables? I've been looking for a riser/cable set that would allow me to move the video cards away from the motherboard, but the only one's I've been able to find are like 2-3 inches in length (for repositioning in servers).

....guess I'm off to Orbit to look around.

No religious complaints, just seems way too overkill even for these forums :) and I don't get the name reference as the only "daywalker" references I can think of usually involve 1/2 vampires or stuff like that).

I did wish DarthBeavis luck on his project. Believe it or not, I do admire his modding skills, largely because I have no such skills, and I have no such interests. I accord him a lot of respect. I do not have to like the aesthetics of his mod projects, do I ? Or should I be a fake and just chime in on the accolades ?

Please feel free to hand out vacations or whatever. I didn't attack anybody here, but if you guys think a citation award or a ban is necessary, then by all means. I'll take whatever comes my way.

I asked but did not press hard . . .it sort of cascaded . . .some came to me as well. I am amazed at how they rolled in . . . I used to be a little jealous of people getting minor sponsorships . . .

Spent last Sunday at Danger Den . . .they whipped up one hell of a backpack for Cherry X . . .still need to add two more legs, cpu, HDDS, watercooling . . .will have a Feser rad for the heck of it . . .this mobo tray got a small crack in it but I am going to test mount it all on it anyways . . .
