Have a look at the K9A2 CF that supposed to support the 9850.

It looks to me like they simply added some basic cooling to the mosfets.
I have the V1 board. I also have some old copper ram sinks. Now for the retarded question, would it be worth it to try the copper ram sinks mounted on the mosfets with a little article silver thermal adhesive? I can place them so they would cover that area entirely.
The reason I am asking is I believe I could flash the board to support the 9850 with zero issues.
