50c idle? how overclocked is your 2500?

i've got my XP2500 @ 2.3GHz w/1.85v, and the fan is at 3000RPM. i'm getting about 33C full load, but it's pretty cool in here.

Thats a little high for stock speeds. Try winbond or a different
program to check temps. What is your room tempature? How is
your case ventilation? How does it do with the sidepanel taken
off?

In the evening is when i was getting the 50 idle, in the morning i was getting 48 idle.
The side of the case is off atm. When i get home im gona put in a thermometer of somekind into the case to get the case temps because mbm says its @ 35 but , i got some good ventilation in there. Also the epox 8rda3+ had a fan on the nb, and it somewhat lifts the hs, so i was thinking about taking the fan off and checking the temps then.

Ok MBM says 35c that sounds good. Where does it say 50C in the
BIOS? What is your room temp?
I just put a Delta Fan on my CPU its a little faster temps went
down 3C which is good. After a year it was very dusty but I gave
it a quick vacumm which must have helped too. I have the same
Fan they put on a Tornado. lol

I dont get it ? Did your NB fan touch your CPU fan? I have a NB
fan and heatsink it cuases no problems. I even pluged my NB fan
into my motherboard. Now my CPu fan is on a molex connector
right off the power supply.
