Hi all,

Just bought the Q9450, P5E3 Premium and some nice Corsair C7 memory.
According to the revision and corsairs IC inquery on their forum, there shoud be micron chips on these 2048 modules. Lucky for me, i hope :D
Comming weekend i'll be testing the memory on this setup.
Only have to wait for the 64 bit OS to arrive,..

Maybe i gonna need a bit support on tuning the memory.
Is there a location in Everest Ulimate Edition where you can find the chip type of the module?
I'll post back when i have the first results.

Hi people

Sorry for the dead thread but the kit was faulty.

Now i am waiting on the third replacement kit to arrive. :(

Mostlikely they will be from a other rev. and will not have the micron chips on them.

Anyway, I'll update with some results when i get a kit that works.

The third kit seems to work fine.
But now i am again experiencing pronblems with my ASUS P5E3 Preminium wifi and am unable to instal vista64 on my velociraptors.

It wont be anytime soon as i will most likely have to RMA the board for a third time. Or even RMA one of the raptors.

Till after the CRAPTECH experience.
