Sorry i asked in the builder relations section about this, but not many visit there and it seems ssilencer has disappeared. So Anyone who knows how to set this up or has some electrical experience and can figure this out I'd greatly appreciate it.:) I bought this controller a long while ago and im finally ready to install it, however i was sent no installation instructions.

Ive realized this is virtually identical to the froster Xe 2.0 aside from a few minor extras. There are two A1 compressor modules and a B1 Module which the Xe2.0 does not have.

My problem is with the B1 module and how it wires up. My best guess is it is used in conjunction with the two A1 mods. I scetched in what my guess is as to how to wire it up on the previous Xe wiring diagram. Is this close?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Also in the last pic i circled a port that is not included on the Xe2.0 model and there doesnt seem to have been a cable included for it. Any ideas?

Hey Sneil...... do any of the documents here help http://www.teampuss.com/runmc/G%20Froster%20Xe-2.0/New%20firmwareXE2.0/

I've got an XE 2.0, but have never tried setting it up. Some of those documents are installation instructions (I think), not all firmware.

Hey thanks for the reply! But yea i had already checked those out. :( the Xe 2.0 installation instructions helped me to understand the actual board layout, but there's just the B1 module that's not a part of the Xe that i think somehow links the two compressor modules together. So still stuck, but thanks anyway.

Does anyone know of someone who's used this in their cascade?

I'm not trying to mess you up. I hope I don't This is an XE2.0

It doesn't look like anything was plugged into the plug you had circles. I'll do some more looking.

Have you tried emailing Golden? I think Ssilencer is gone for good.

no, I know this is the Cascade controller, however the pcb is the same as the XE2.0 with a minor differences such as the extra connectors for the added compressor, added probe sensors etc. There is that tiny little pcb that has me confused. It is has A and B marked on it which i am assuming the two A1 compressor modules are the A and B.
Thanks for the PM, ill give Golden a holler. I sure hope he's still around..

edit: oh oops are you trying to tell me this is the XE2.0? Well it is different, ill point out the differences... just a sec..

And then of course there is the extra compressor module along with the extra smaller B1 module

Can you tell me what pins in connects to on what ICs and the IC numbers ? It might just be a in circuit serial programming connector.

sorry define IC:yawn: Are you talking about the one port on the mainboard or one of the other modules?
