Hey all,
I think I am one of the lucky ones around here. I am running my q6600 and my mixed bag of RAM at 480fsb, Ram at 1:1, 4-4-4-12, but I was wondering if anyone can help me extract everything I possibly can out of the timings. I know it won't mean a whole lot in real world performance, but I wanted to explore the boundries of my RAM. My NB seems to be very resilient to running 4 sticks at "high" fsb, especially when adding the q6600 into the mix.

Here are my timings that I have set it to so far. my tRAS is 12 in BIOS, and I set it to 10 in Memset. tRFC was also at 45 in BIOS, but I set it to 35 for kicks and it holds well. There is my bandwidth shot from Sandra. Each of the tweaks just mentioned added to the benchmark results.

Is there any values that I should watch out for to avoid the RAM having to re-read and all that good stuff? I heard that tRAS is supposed to be (x+y+z) or something like that....

Please let me know what I can do to tighten things up.

My RAM is as follows....
Slot 1: G.Skill F2-6400PHU1-1GBHZ (The only surviving stick of 4 sticks, burned the other 3 in an evga 680i)
Slot 2: Corsair CMX1024-6400C4 (Same as slot 4, part of the TWIN2X2048-6400C4 pack)
Slot 3: G.Skill F2-6400CL4-1GBPK (killed my other HZ stick in an evga 680i)
Slot 4: Corsair CMX1024-6400C4 (part of the TWIN2X2048-6400C4 pack)

Amazingly, these all work. I was a little concerned about mixing the HZ and PK sticks with the already awesome (for my setup at least) Corsair RAM.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
