Sorry for the 1 hour down time we bonded the T1 to a pair of T1's for 3MB service.

Enjoy!

Who is paying for two T1s just for XtremeSystems.org? That's anywhere from $1000 to $1600/month(depending on provider).

Or is someone breaking out a T3(or OC3)? ;)

Excellent!!! I guess that means the site is finally coming close to paying for itself now huh?

Sorry to say no, all bandwidth $$ is still coming out of personal pockets of DaGooch and Fugger. The site still has no income as of yet with sponsors.

With all the "good words" put out on this forum for certian brands and makers of components you would think someone could cough up a little cash. What can we do to help them loosen the grip on all the cash we give 'em? Don't want to see it get
''commercalized" though, as that tends to fog peoples vision on things.

Geeze that's a steal. I install IDSL through T1s through OC3s all day long in the northeast US and I've never heard of a $241.50 T1... I don't understand how TelePacific could even be making any money... unless your facilities are basically brand new and there is not really any work involved in installing it. And if they are a re-seller... then it's just wrong that someone has to provide them these circuits for such a lowball price.

Our company charges ~$800/month for a T1 and some of our competitors charge $500-$1000/month. The only T1 in our area that is "cheap" is one that a local radio station got from us... we screwed up their stereo radio circuit so we quickly installed a T1 AND paid for half the cost for the support equipment. They were happy... we lose money monthly. :) Still though... they're happy. ;)

Now if these T1s were part of a T3(or larger), then I could almost see $241/T1. We give a pretty good deal for T3s... once the cost of installing the support equipment is paid off. ;)

At any rate, good deal.

Great work Fugger - and thanks for all the support. Appreciate you guys doing this for the best site around.

Would be nice to see some support from cooperating companies, memory, chips, coolers, cases, etc...without over commercialization of this site.

Our building is brand new, we resell a lot of bandwidth, bandwidth is cheap in Las Vegas as we are a pilot for the newest technologies.

A few contributing factors to the T1 rate we pay.

I'll have to remember that next time we need to upgrade our hosting package... we're on 500Gb/month at the mo...

Well done FUGGER and DaGooch!

Without XS, I'd be sitting in a corner shaking throwing down anti-depressants!

That's cool. We have a few POP sites that are like that. Basically we fight over those orders since there really isn't much to do... for once. ;)

 for all you do Fugger. ;)

Yes this site is very fast. I have DSL and it loads quicker than
90% of the places I go.
