Hi, I am considering purchasing the 4Gb kit of 1600Mhz CL7 ram as I have had problems with an Ocz/Asus P5E3 Premium combination.

Has the GSkill ram been tested with any of the 790i motherboards, specifically the Asus Maximus II Extreme?

I'd like to find out all I can about any possible issues before I buy this time! I am aware of *possible* corruption issues with the 790i boards, but I believe there is a bios out to fix this issue, so I am ready to go ahead and buy the motherboard/memory combination should the two be compatible!

Thanks

Has this been tested with the Striker II Extreme?

When I run 2 sticks, I get blue screens.

Either stick in any slot works fine though.

The solution was to install: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777

When you try to install Windows Vista, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
STOP 0x0000000A (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
• The computer uses more than 3 GB of RAM.
• The computer uses a storage system that is running the Storport miniport driver.
• The computer uses a controller that uses 32-bit direct memory access (DMA).
