I know everyone has been doing the cpu heatsink on vid cards lately and just wanted to know some opinions on this combo. I know the site sucks, but how much can they screw this up? Anyway here it the link.

be decent. Get the sf2 instead of the tonrado though.

It's much more practical to use a copper thin fin low profile cooler than a traditional cpu heatsink. The Cooljag is an inch tall and that includes the fan.

If you have a dremmel and maybe a drill you can modify the cooljag and drill two holes to mount it with the videa cards two holes, or Arctic Alumina adhesive or Silver adhesive will hold it fast. But using the videacard mounting holes is always best.

(I do find the Cooljags fan to be a bit loud, if you decide to buy one and dont have a fan controller, send me a PM and I can slide you a delta or NMB 60mm x 10mm quiet fan, I have a few dozen) sitting around

I'm thinking of getting one of those for my northbridge.

Currently using thermaltakes's giant ll heat pipe on my 9500np. Running core at 398.25 and mem at 310.5. Seems to be holding up just fine, but I can't seem to get more than that.

I have the platinum version of the zalman on mine now with a standard 80mm blowing on the bottom and a smart fan 2 blowing down the length of the card. I am getting a volcanoe 6 from a friend to try out though.
