i should get those sticks(1gb X 2) in a week or 2 and i wanted to know how they perform and if some1 already tried them in here ? :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=WINTEC%2b8500
i will work with E7200 and DS3L so i wanna get as much FSB as possible and also to take them above the 500fsb barrier 1:1 and more... will they do the job?

Ehhh....considering its rated at 533Mhz anyway, I dont think you will have a problem crossing 500Mhz.

sure i guess... but i wanted to know more about the company... maybe i will try to push it not on 1:1 to 1200mhz... or more.. wanted to know if some1 know the company/brand and can tell me something good on them :D
maybe i should take those? :

its 800mhz but as its written in the D9 chips in here it says it has D9 chips... should it be better than the WINTEC?>

can some1 reply to me? its kinda urgent about the crucial cause if they are D9 i guess they can reach some nice frequency with insane timings...

wintec dont use micron in any of their kits, and i dobt that those are powerchips so 1200mhz would seam imposable with those

Those new Crucial's dont overclock nearly as high as the old ones, but are likely still MUCH better than your orginal, no name choice.

You mean the crucial should be better than the wintec one's ?
cause i saw on the newegg customer reviews that some of the guys got the 1200mhz with them... and again, is there any other memory in about 50-60~ $ which has a D9 chips? or you think is better than those? also, i saw in the customer reviews that those crucial aren't that loyal and most of them get burned or not working at all... so im kinda afraid buying them..

why dont u look at the gskill 4GB 1066kit, that will get to about 1125-1150 without tweaking and is still affordable

the 2GB kits have dried up on the new market

can you link me? cause i cant see 4GB in less thn 60$(and thats my MAX...)

you need to up your budget or lower your overclocking expectation
maybe you can get lucky on ebay lol

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231144Those would be fine...

Yeah you can either get 4Gb of crappy ram or 2gb of decent ram with your budget. Like I said before you are only shooting for 500FSB which PC8500 is already rated OVER that.

i know PC8500 is above 500(533mhz if to be specific)
but i want to know that im buying the best choice in this budget... i dont want 4GB, 2GB will be planty, i just want the best overclockable ram to this budget...
in this list :
http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/
it says that this one :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144034
is this :
PC2-8500 Ultra Plus
GX21GB8500PDC / GX22GB8500PDC

5.0-5-5-15 @ 2.4 ~ 2.5V

Micron D9GCT (B6-37E)
which seems pretty good, altough its not in stock... but will those be the best choice?(only 53.99$)

Well, there is really no point in pushing your FSB past 1:1 anyway really. 500x7.5=3.75Ghz. You wont get much more out of that chip really. Im certain most kits you have listed will do a little over its rated speed. I would be more concerned about the 2.4-2.5v it needs though. Does your board go that high?

get the gskills

as i see this board can do upto 2.3V when it uses the right bios revision... i guess thats enough...

as i see this board can do upto 2.3V when it uses the right bios revision... i guess thats enough... :shakes:

2.3v is not enough for a set that requires 2.4-2.5!!!!!

so i'll see about that, i still dont know if i'll take the gigabyte P35-DS3L or the ABIT IP35-E(which can do upto 1.95V to cpu and 3.0V to memory)
the thing is i dont know how is the abit overclocking on the fsb... i know alot of DS3L owners get more than 500mhz fsb...

i ended with this setup :
E7200
ASUS P5K-E WiFi/AP
BUFFALO Firestix 2 x 1GB D9GMH chips PC6400 (model - FSX800D2C-K2G)
memories will come with D9GMH chips and cost only 45$
so when i took cheaper memories i raised the motherboard quallity which is i guess better than the Gigabyte P35-DS3L or the Abit IP35-E

Wow...weird thread...asked for advice then went against it...

I hope those reach your 500+FSB goal at its PC6400 rated timings!!! (and no, newegg reviews(ers) are crap and you should take those with a grain of salt).

i saw some thread's here about those memories and all says they are D9GMH... guess they reach atleast to 500mhz...
see in here :
http://www.xcpus.com/forums/memory-storage-devices/1346-redline-reviews-ddr2-budget.html?garpg=10#content_start
the only choice is :
Micron D9GMH (B6-3)
Elpida AG-6E-E

and the elpida one is rear on these.. and if i get elpida as it seems it can do about 490-500~ and some can do more...
