i should drop the 9800gtx for a 8800gts 512MB (same card but cheaper), and drop the 750i for a good p35 like the DFI UT/LT or get a p45, and i would change the psu to a corsair 750, the ocz is 780W peak while the 750 corsair is 750 RMS (or get a silverstone if u want modular)

and stay away from balstex, powerchips beats the micron used for 2/4GB kits from crucial now, and the 10x multi and g0 only is well worth $50

I think he is getting the 750i and that powerful 750w PSU because he is thinking of SLI in the future

then he needs teh sli talk

dont waist money thinking of sli in the future by the time that u go to sli (unless u start with it) it will be when games start to lagg but sli dosnt add more power it adds more FPS so if u lagg with one card u will still lagg with 2. but the best part is when ur game slows in 6-9 months the card will be EOL and sine other people had your misguided idea of future proof sli the cards jump in price and are then more than the ne card that beats both cards that u would have if u went sli, but you are strapped to an inferior board for no purpose (look the GTX is back up to $400 and climbing, the ultra is $800 again, gts 640 is $325)

NV has a current plan of upgrades

g260 in june (55nm die shrink of the g92 + gddr5)
g300 nov/dec (55nm new architecture with stream processing and physx)
g360 09 march (45nm g300)

so that leaves no place for sli, and the g92 is EOL in july

u may also want to see what the 4870 dose (shipping in week 1 june) it will be about $240 and should beat the 3870 by 40-60% so thats better than an ultra but with dx10.1
