I thought I would point out.....

Got the 9800GX2 waterblock from DangerDen...I gotta say, it is one awesome, beastly block. So nice....

BUT.....the installation instructions are TERRIBLE.... So bad, I cant describe.
Also, there is no mention on how to remove the stock cooler, which was very, very hard! I actually had to break it around the area of the Power plugs to get the darned thing off. Oh, and they give you a single 2"x2" square of thermal pad that you need to cut to the right sizes, with no measurements or templates......

And lastly, they give you a little tiny bag, with little tiny screws, washers, and o-rings, and you gotta put them all together. That was more tedious than crimping Cat6!

Once I got it together though, I gotta say, it looks amazing. Cant wait to fire it up!

LOL . . .Does any company tell you how to take apart a GX2? I doubt it . . .it is an art more than a science. . .I did my first one at Danger Den so I had the benefit of hand-holding . . .and even then it was not easy! Once the stock part is off installation is super easy . . .gotta love those dual internal bridges . . .not. I do not think the card was designed for aftermarket cooling . . .but then was GPU is . . .

anyways, hats off to you for getting-r-dun!!!

I'll get some pics up later tonight..... It's a tight fit.... Dual Loop, 3 Rads, 9800GX2 all in a TJ09.... It's madness!! I actually had to route tubing THROUGH my GPU.....

Looks good.

2 q's

1st, what is the wiretie doing ontop of the GPU holding the tube?

2nd, What wattage is your Ultra X3 and how do you like it?

Ok, that was 3, but you get the idea.

If you are refering to the ziptie holding the tube onto the videocard, it is there because if not, the tube wants to run OUT of the case, and puts strain on the side panel window.

Secondly, it is the 1000W X3, and it is fantastic. When I was running dual 8800GTX's, it would get loud though. That honkin 140mm fan can sure get spinning. But it is stable, and the cables are GREAT

Good to know you got around everything. I am definitely on the same boat with you when it comes to instructions. Made even worst when you venture into something new.

Big fan for those antec spotcools? :D hehe. Amusing to see that you are making use of those big gaping holes on the PCB to route tubes through.
