Seeing as summer has arrived and as most of you are experiencing, the ambient heat is on!
So ive decided for the summer months to move the PA out of the case and mount it out top.
Could not resist experimenting a little and decided what the heck, instead of spending more money on res's and rads Ive decided to run with my exisiting rad but with a twist.
And I am quite surprised with the results.

The first photo shows the original setup with one single loop on three blocks.

The second photo shows how I have split the loop by using two pumps, the XSPC going directly to the CPU out into the rad and on the return the DB1 picks up the coolant and sends it into the GPU and NB which then flows back into the res to continue the cycle.
Also the fans are performing quite well on a pull rather than push config.

Theres method in the madness.
I found that the pressure in the hoses was too weak around the loop.I do not have testing equipment to determine pressure at various stages of the cycle but just by feeling the tubing you could tell that it was weak with only one pump.
I do not have precise temp gains but FOR SURE the GPU is cooler by 2 degrees by using two pumps.
Have more of you found that water pressure has a rather more noticeable impact on closed loop systems than flow rate itself?

Two different pumps in the same loop is a bad idea. You are possibly damaging the DB1 pump.
