Hi All,
I am super stoke! I just ordered the parts to WC my Cosmos! Can't wait to get the package!
I would like to thank everyone that posts here on a regular basis on the topic.
Even though it is my first post, I read a lot and I hope learned from many!
Here is what I bought:
(1)Swiftech MCP655 12V Industrial Water Cooling Pump
(5)D-TEK Customs 1/2IN G1/4 Chrome High Flow Barb Fittings (Pair)
(1)Swiftech MCW60-R GPU Water Block
(1)D-TEK Customs UNI-SINK Heatsink 8800GTX
(1)Swiftech MCR320 Triple 120MM Radiator
(2)Danger Den Delrin Fillport
(4)Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F 120MM Cooling Fan
(1)Evercool VC-RE Copper VGA Cooler
(1)Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock
(1)Swiftech MCRES-MICRO Water Cooling Reservoir
(1)Sunbeam 12 inches UV Dual Cold Cathode Kit W/ PCI Backplate Switch
(2) 1 ltr Feser One Fluid UV Red Liquid Cooling
(1)D-TEK Customs Fuzion V2 CPU Water Block 1/2IN Barbs
10 ft Clearflex 60 Tubing 1/2IN Id 3/4IN Od (Could not justify the price of Tygon..)
(2)Primochill 3/4IN ANTI-KINK Tube Coils - for 3/4 Inch OD Tubing - Black
(1)Nexus FF-120 120MM Fan Filter ( I intend on putting the rear fan as an intake...)
(1)Danger Den Top Plug G1/4 Threads with O-RING (Just in case...)
I also bought a G1/4 tap from McMaster-Carr to do the res. I plan a Fillport and a drain... Hope it will work.
All this will be used to cool a Q6600 and a 8800GTX on a eVGA 680i.
I plan on cooling the NB with the MCW30 and the SB with the Evercool.
All will be on the same loop for now... (I know... it not the best but it will have to do for now...)
I also have a CrystalFontz CF635 with SCAB to monitor my temps and fan speed.
I'm busy now re-designing the HDD section of my Cosmos for better cooling.. (those Raptors run hot...)
and am still working out the pump/res position. I guess it will be easier once I have the actual stuff here....
Any comments/suggestion as far as loop order is more than welcome.
Right now I'm leaning toward
RES->pump->RAD->CPU->GPU->NB->RES
Cheers,
Junior
