Got me a couple of Q9300's sent over from hecktic, one of them was a real dud but the other kinda compensated for that.:D

Vcore 1.275 bios (terrible vdrop)
FSB +0.1v
Scythe minininja with two 67CFM in push/pull.
FSB wall at 478MHz
L804B104

It really runs good on "low fat" as well:D

470-ish FSB wall is ok because there is very marginal performance boost after 3.6ghz.
would be nicer to get higher but alas it is a quad and boards just dont have quads past the 470 mark very well.

but very nice voltages.
dont forget about PLL/VTT/FSB voltages in the bios because those WILL make your overclock require higher vcore than what it should.
proper pll/vtt/fsb voltages can make overclocking the cpu a much "cooler" experience.

M1 revision... it has smaller die and lower VID than C0/C1

So you are saying that I should raise the FSB voltage even more?
I don't know, the board maxes out at 500MHz and will boot up to 460 on stock FSB voltage. From what I understand the FSB voltage is what can kill the 45nm chip?

Yep, it's quite obvious when compared to others results with Q9300. I think I'll keep this one for a while, I really don't care about the smaller cache....can't see much performance loss in reality.

whoah... 0.896 vcore at stock speeds.... that is really nice..

should throw some water on it now...

I were also benching one pretty good Q9300 yesterday.
3720MHz with aircooling.

I upped best results to HWBOT:
PCMark05 (http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=736874)
PiFast (http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=736451)
SuperPi 32M (http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=736445)
wPrime 1024M (http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=736444)
wPrime 32M (http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=736442)

Very stable at 7.5 x 496MHz and reasonable 1.425V Vcore.
