Help With GTA IV Final Mission (Potential Spoilers)

I've just about given up, I reached the final mission(I chose revenge) and I'm stuck. When I launch off the ramp and grab the helicopter I can't seem to be able to climb in. It tells me to tap A but nothing happens and Pegerino gets away every time and I've tried around 10 times now. Has anyone else had something similar? I can also try the chase after Dimitry if neccessary since I did the deal mission later just to see what the difference would be.

Nevermind, turned out it was a bug in the revenge storyline but the deal storyline worked fine.

Strange. I finished both endings with no issue. Though the game does have some bugs in it.

I thought I was going to fail the last mission since i got about 1 inch of air off of the ramp to jump onto the helicopter, but then it cut to a cutseen and I was saved :)
