I Just ordered the following..

Bitspower G 1/4" Temperature Sensor Stop Fitting (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=23347)
Scythe "KAZE MASTER" 3.5 " Multi Channel Bay Fan Controller - Black (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=23083)

Im attaching the stop fitting to the bottom of my EK 200 Res and the temp probe to the Kaze Master. I have 1 temp probe port left and would like to utilize it with the CPU temp.
Do I just place the temp probe on top of the CPU, apply thermal paste and just mount the block as normal? any suggestions, help would be appreciated..

No, that'll ruin your heatsink/CPU contact. And you wouldn't get the actual core temperature anyway, since the IHS would be in the way. If you want CPU temperature, you'll do better to just pull it via software.

hmm that does make sense

did some digging around and the only possible way to get accurate temps is if you drill the temp probe into the IHS
as seen here (http://hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTQ3MywyLCxoZW50aHVzaWFzdA==). that I can't do, so I guess the other temp sensor is useless
thanks
