Insulation is for girls ;) . That was very short session, so it's unnecessary.

You say extreme... ;) . There is 3dmark for cell phones and some of them are overclockable... you know what I mean ;) ?

Hahaha, this is getting emailed to everyone I know.

This is hilarious!

One of the things i've been meaning to do is since my laptop is overclockable (XPS 1710, T7600G @ 3.16ghz) was placed it over a perf tile in the Datacenter I work at (700CFM comes out of a perf tile @ about 60c) and see what temps are like.

Send these pictures to Dell and ask if your warranty is still valid. I'm curious to see the response.

That was cascade, and hmm, that was in 2006 I belive, just before or after CD release... (deff before C2D)
Was his reply to the dothan SPI OC contest here at XS...

Oh, and the great part about that was the guy was getting an operating for his back, so he couldnt move much around, so he decided to overclock on the toilet, sitting on the crapper and benchmark with the laptop on his lap :ROTF:

Shame you can't bring a portable LN2 pot with you to do that around. That would be so hilarious to be at Starbucks with your laptop benchmarking.
