i hope the same - but nowdays many new kits using powerchip wich clocks nice high but don't like high voltages

thanks Oliver & Marc, i couldn't hold on to get this kits after seen the heatspeader - i'm prey to the marketing

Lol, i think we will test the hs but not sticks...

Now start pushing it ;)...

+1
if so these are pretty nicely priced

Same as the old 1066MHz kit, but with new heatspreaders.

then what chips were in the old ones?

im sure on this kits are not micron ic's...
1200 55515 memtest stable at 2.10v on DFI P35 (still don't tryed more less lol) but with 2.2-2.4v can't make valid upper ~630mhz (like i said, high voltages doesn't make any sense) and cas4 600mhz is unreachable...
more to come & pics later, i'm after 2 beers and tomorrow work :D

Powerchips.

Since the memory chips don't like much voltage and stay cool, is there any point to the tall heat spreaders, other than potentially causing an obstruction with the CPU heat sink?

1200 55515 memtest stable at 2.10v on DFI P35 Nice results.

Hello friend,I have the same memorys and I can't put at 1200.Please can you give me all of your timing control??

hmmm i cant say i like the heatspreaders :D
But 1066 555 is not bad for 4gb kit...
looking forward to some more results bala! :toast:

im pretty sure theese are powerchip chips btw :)

At that moment with this memorys I put 5-5-4-15 1066 1,90v

Finally, a 2x2 Gb kit that can do 1200 mhz?

I doubt it would make much difference over my current kit which is running happy at 1100 mhz 2.2v, but it will be nice to have untill 2x2 Gb DDR3 becomes affordable.

pretty nice.

is the 1066 CL5 the only DDR2 kit with 8-layer pcb again?

Any testing with cas4 ? Nice results anyway ! 1200MHz 555 is rather good for a 2 x 2G kit

From the looks of the thread title he is testing a 2x1Gb kit not a 2x2Gb like everyone is stating. Would be good if the 2x2Gb kit can do 1200MHz & would be good if the thread starter could clarify.

G.Skill F2-8500CL5D-2GBPI: DDR2-1066 MHz, 5-5-5-15, 2*1 GB, 2.0~2.1V

Thats how I read it, I don't see any mention of 4GB?

And if it is only 2GB, I'd prefer something else with micron.

Good frequency for low voltage, but no scaling.

which kit is this ?
1066 or 800
and is it the 2gb or 4gb kit

guys this kit was 2*1GB like in the head of the topic!
and yes, scaled pretty nice for cas5 24/7 but i never reached more than 1250mhz on higher voltages, and cas4 was so crap, ~1000mhz was only stable, so this kit are not micron!

Just bought the 8 Layer PCB (MemoryC listed a 6 Layer version too but it's gone now) version of this F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI - DDR2-1066 5-5-5-15 2GBx2 and it's amazing! 1150MHz 5-5-5-15 2T @ 2.05v so far on a P5K-E (Bios 1102). :D Only been playing for them for about 30mins worth of tweaking (plus the hours of stability testing).
