Please let me know what your favorite UMPC is.
I am looking at getting one, but not for too much.
I'm looking at around $500.
My favorite so far is the Samsung Q1
I've found one for $660, and it had these specs:
Processor: Intel Ultra Mobile Processor A110 800MHz Clock/400MHz FSB
Operating System: Genuine Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
Chipset & Graphics: Intel GMA950, 128MB Shared Memory
Memory: 1GB DDR2 400MHz
Display: 7" WSVGA Touch Screen LCD, 1024 x 600
Audio: HD Audio, Two Stereo Speakers (1.5W), Dual Array Microphone
Storage: 40 GB; 1.8", 4200 RPM Speed
Connectivity: 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi
Multimedia Instant-On: AVStation Now 5.0
I/O Port: Two USB 2.0, Headphone Jack, RJ-45 Jack
User Interface: 8-Way Direction Button & Mouse Function, 4-User Defined Keys, Volume Control, Quick Launch Menu Button, Camera Shutter Button
Battery: Li-Ion (Prismatic) Battery, 29.6wh Capacity (over 4.5 hours)
Dimensions(L x H x D): 8.96" x 4.88" x 0.93"
Weight: 1.52 lbs.
If I were to get it, I would want to look into:
Upgrading the RAM to 2GB (is it possible?)
Installing Linux Or XP.
