As a general rule how many passes do you run with Memtest to determine stability? I have the system in my sig and I am trying to determine if my memory is stable before I put it in the case. Thanks.

Ok thanks for the advice. I was running memtest and then fell asleep. This is what I got. Would this then be considered stable?

You wouldn't want any errors from your RAM. I don't know if a few errors would be good or bad, but try to RMA that stuff.

It's very simple. If you get errors, it's not stable. RMA time if you're running at stock speeds.

Yeah I was thinking of trying to do that. I have already increased the rated timings just to try and make it work somehow. Thanks for the help. This was done at 1600mhz 7-7-7-24 2t 1.85 volts.

so this debunks the myth that 1 pass of memtest86+ doesn't tell anything.

the OP found errors beginning at test7 of pass5. it may as well have began at pass6.
