you really are thinking too much into it.....
it's for those who are doing an 18pg report the night before it's due and like to procrastinate by logging onto myspace, etc. Yeah we all know we are typing myspace.com...

^ And for bored, mindless surfing as well. I've accidentally ended up there suddenly staring at some utterly obnoxious, animated gif hell. Or worse (well more so before it went corporate, but still).
Though, for the likes of the general XS population, especially us crunchers, an anti-Newegg plug-in is probably a lot more useful. ;)
