I have the above Corsair ram stable at the following:
400 FSB (read 800 mem), 1.888v, 4,4,4,12 timings
I then increased the FSB to 423 (read 846 mem). It wasn't stable at the above settings so I made a big jump to 2.08v and 5,5,5,18 timings and now it is stable again.
As each stability test takes ages, I was wondering what timing makes the most difference in performance that I can start with, i.e.:
tCL
tRCD
tRP
tRAS
I've heard a quick rough rule that tRAS = tRCD + tRP + 2 (equates to 12 for me). Do I change each '5' timing to 4 separately and test?
