Will a GTX 240 handle the following loop?

DD12V-D5 + EK Supreme + EK NB MAX + IONE (8800)?

The EK Supreme is cooling a Q6600 that I hope to overclock insane amounts. BTW, it is a VID 1.2000v. I hope to overclock the 8800GTS to 800. The X48 NB will obviously overclock as well.

Please understand that I have a Waterbox Plus from Danger Den, and I am kinda limited by space. I do not have the option to extend the case to fit a PA120.2 (unless people know how to do it with an unmodified WB).

I hope to avoid putting a rad outside the case. I'm hoping that the GTX or TFC will work.

with that kind of overclocking that you ar eplanning to do you need at least a tripple rad id say

you would have to mount it externally though (you could use a radbox to install it at the back of your case for a cleaner look..)

otherwise id say go with watercooling only the cpu (and MB maybe) with a double rad

If you make a call Monday I am sure they will sell you a TC panel for it. Check out what we did for my best friends rig (in-progress pic, we are redoing it today to finish it up)

I will post some updated pix tonight if you wish
If you need to refer to this layout it is the 'Fletch" panel layout (custom waterbox with Fletch on the panels with rads mounted externally on each side).

The TC panel requires that you recut 5 pieces.

I just had them ship me 3 new pieces already. If I wanted to go the TC route, then I would have to replace those 3 pieces + 2 more. I already have 3 panels that are sitting off to the side.

Sidenote: If anyone wants to build a waterbox +, I could sell you my panels for cheap, and it should only cost you $80 more in panels from DD (since they sell the panels separately if you like).

I realize that maybe I should have had them cut the 3 to fit the thermochill at the time, but I didn't. Mistake maybe, perhaps, all right I wish I actually did it then. I already dropped $200 on the original case, then $155 on the 3 new panels with custom work, artwork design, and fast shipping. $355 is already too much to spend. Please don't suggest TC to me anymore, because it just breaks my heart. *sigh*

So, I have been told that a GTX 240 would be enough even if I am overclocking. I may not have the best temps, but they would be good enough to be stable.

As indicated, maybe I would have to put one outside the case, I just don't want to.

Perhaps someone has experience with the Fesser Xchanger rads? If they work as advertised, then I don't see why I couldn't use 1 of those.

Further opinions?

Danger Den will have a brand new waterbox on the market in a couple weeks with two 120x3 fans rads on teh bottom facing down. The box will be just a little bigger than a current waterbox but smaller than my Skulltrail box.

I will try to get pics to post here.

Being a n00b sucks. Being anxious sucks.

After calming, I think I decided to get a single XChanger 240. If it turns out not to be enough, then I will use my BIX on the outside.

Retail release will not have slanted mobo and of course not SkullTrail logo

looks nice bud. If you can do it yourself then you should always be proud. Some people like me use Waterboxes and airboxes (and Mountain Mod) boxes for our businesses. . .it does not make sense to fab your own in that circumstance even if you did have the talent. I can tell the DD guys what I want and they can have it input into Solidworks/CAD in short order and have it lasered out.
