Anyone know if these are any good..

I can get 2 x 1GB set of these 'Fatbodies' for £20

What would be the max clocks and at what timings and voltage..?

I would say, yea,,.... They're good...
DQT is a little better, but they do well at 3-2-2-4 I belive

DQW prefer CAS4, and they do not like X-2-2-X. They can do 4-3-2 fairly high however, assuming they like volts, some don't.

Person I am buying them from says he had them running @ 1000mhz 4-3-3-12 with 2.3V rock stable

I can get the set for £20, is it worth getting them..?

Unlease you plan to go DDR3, I'd say YES..
