Hi.

I'm running GA-X38-DQ6 with Intel Q6600 from 2.4 (first machine) and 3.0 second.
I'm planning to upgrade from 4GB to 8GB of RAM and thinking of

Corsair 4GB, 2x2GB, 800 MHz DDR2, XMS2-6400 2x128Mx64non-ECC 240 DIMM, unbuffered, 4-4-4-12, 64Mx8 DRAMs,Two matched CM2X2048-6400C4DHX modules, TWIN2X2048-6400C4DHX

However, I was wondering would that memory work fine with my system and would it be stable at 333FSB and at what voltage increase if needed.

Thank you.

The 2 x 2gb kits have 4096 in the part number, for example: TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX. If you want 8gb, you'll need 2 full kits.

If you try to run 4 modules and it is not stable, you will likely need to increase the voltage to the memory controller.
