this was part of my first watercooling system from asetek! ahh... those were the days... I knew nothing about WC, I ran 1/4 hose on my p4 and showed it of to my friends. I had the bezel display too, but back on topic, this pump is excellent if you have little space as it has the res built in, but it doesnt perform as well as a DDC for sure. check out this link http://www.3dgameman.com/content/view/122/103/

so would this perform better than a mcp355?

mcp355 is the best pump for perfomance or in a multiblock restrictive loop.

The Asetek just has more functions with outputs for fans and temp probes and adjustment for pump speed and fan speed via a windows software panel.

Not likely.

Asetek pump has 240cm max lift.

DDC 3.2 has 450cm max lift.
