Hey all
Need some help deciding on which motherboard to go with for my new build. Originally had my eyes set on a Foxconn Blackops, but as I can't seem to find one anywhere or from anyone for love nor money, I'm thinking I may have to move further afield.

I'm planning to use 4*1GB of DDR3-1600 (G.Skill CAS-7 kits, Micron), so good memory subsystem and voltage reg is a must. The board will also have an 83W TEC used on the NB, so no cold-bug, and will be housing a Q9450 under a Supreme and occasionally DIce/LN2. It does need to be X48, as I'll be using a Crossfire setup.

I've looked at a number of boards, but there just doesn't seem to be any hard (or even slightly soggy) data available on any of the above points (4*1GB performance, cold-bug, quad support), and thus I turn to you guys.
I'm not a fanboi, so no brand preference, and am prepared to spend up to about $AUS 450 (~$USD 420) , as I'd rather pay for quality.

Thoughts?

(Please keep in mind that I am in Australia, so links to, for example, US places that don't do international shipping are of no use to me)

Personaly I never try any LanParty board after nF4 series. But you may try your luck with DFI X48 T3R..

Maybe you should not try rampage series from Asus, cause some user reported this board is a bad overclocking motherboard for Q9450.

Well from what I have read, the new P45's will have at least 2 x PCI-E 16x slots if not 3 of them.

I would recommend the Asus P5E3 Premium. I have this board and personally I would of spent more than I bought it for just because of all the small great features . I have only one x2 installed and runs beautifully. I have 2 x 1gb Patriot memory that runs extraordinarily well. My E8400 is easily overcloked and your cpu should as well. Very intuitive overclocking settings for beginners and for the enthusiasts. Runs cool and stable all day and really has neat features. I would give this one a look and see if you like it.

Thanks for the input, this was actually one of the contenders I was looking at. Has anyone had any experience with the P5E3 and quads, sub-zero and 4*1GB?
