Quick questions about micro-res

I'm getting one of these from petra's with the top made to fit 1/4", what I'm wondering is is it ok to have a fitting b there and run my inlet from the top? Also will the 1/4" plug fit on the other hole I don't plan on using?

As long as it's a g1/4 plug and not the one from the original hole, yes.

Been there, done that. Doesn't work as well as the the way it was intended to work.

poop... well cant say i didnt try, any other suggestions on a res, im using a D5 and everything is going into a H2go so space is alittle bit of an issue, also I have 3 5 1/4 devices already so one of those isnt gonna work

If you use the top as an inlet it will be tough to bleed.
