Hello

I have 2 MCR220 with 4 Yate Loon D12SH-12 controled by Sunbeam Rheobus.
Even when the fans are on the lowest opreation volt they are to loud for my taste.

I want to replace them with one of this:
1. Yate Loon D12SM-12
2. Scythe SFF21F S-FLEX
3. Zalman ZM-F3

I need the fan i choose to be as close to silent on the lowest volt and to be able to cool my rads when i need to.

Which is the best?

I'd go with a D12SL-12 Yate Loon or a 1200 RPM Scythe S-Flex. The Yate Loon still tops out at ~1400 rpm, which is more than enough for me/most people.

+1 for the D12SL-12 Yate Loon (Petras curved model)

I'd go for the Yate Loon. According to Vapor, Yate Loon fans are much better for radiators than Scythe fans. The Yate Loons are cheap, quiet, and work quite well.

I'm affraid that the D12SL-12 is weak for me...
How quiet are the D12SM-12 at 5V?

What?

Scythe S-Flex E 1200RPM - S-FDB bearings kick ass. Very, very little extraneous noise, relatively inexpensive, no positional oddities like sleeves, and fairly well sealed. They also don't have the radiator slow-down that the Minebeas exhibit. But they're also not empirically as good in open air. However, the entire S-Flex range is among my favorites. Very, very good fans that don't make extraneous noises nor cost an a lot.
