I was wondering cause i personnally have never seen the insides of a xbox. Could you swap out the cpu maybe or oc the 733 thats in it? What about the GPU? I know i sound like a retard asking this, and i assume its not possible at all. But i just wonder is all cause i have seen water cooler ones and such so i was wondering if there was a possiblity. IS it even possible in theory or would you need to hack the bios some how or something like that?.

yes but it is really hard, you have to remove the time crystal & put it a new one

ocing would mess up games as well because it they would run as if someone was holding the fast forward button

I doubt that, an Xbox is more or less a stripped down PC

Well, having a HDD replaced and if you back up the gmaes onto the HDD, it will run alot faster than reading from dvd-rom.

damn i must say friendtech is either just taking a PC and putting it into the xbox case or they are spending alot of time modding the origninal xbox hardware... the pics on their site are a little hard to makeout / follow... from what i can see there is tonnes of added features tho :)

you cant play on xbox live if you have a modded box, but you can show it off!!

not ture. you still can if you have a modchip with a switch. but you have to use a retail game, and have a live account.

you could use xbconnect.

but explaining this i dont think is right for these forums :)
