Hi!

I am trying to push my ram stable to 600mhz+(4x1gb teamgroup d9gmh), but somehow with no sucess, maybe i am doing something wrong there. it is running fine with 510 4-4-4-12 @ 2.3V, but when setting it to 600mhz it boots into windows but then crashes under prime, tried following settings for 600mhz, cl5, cl6 from 2.3 to 2.45V, also tried pushing the nb voltageup to 1.6V with no result.

my other system specs are:

abit ix38 quadgt
q6600 @ 3,6mhz

hope you guys can help :)

p.s: here are the available mem setting in bios http://www.ocklub.net/images/DSC05929.JPG

not all d9gmh's can reach 1200mhz. try a lower speed. There should be an option in the bios for ratios. it should tell you what the ram speed will be once you set it to a lower ratio. Grab some ddr3 if you want guaranteed 1200mhz :)

You could try going for 500 cas 4 because 600 cas 5 seems to be a no go (atleast not with 24/7 volts). The abit ix38 quadgt loves c4 from my experience so it might actually work better than cas5 at 600.

its an x38 problem mine wont go stable for over an hour at 1210, but i think that its an x38/48 thing, im running better with 1000c4 than i was with 1210c5 with the everest bandwidth test

uhh everything is set to auto ..... try 5-6-6-18 and maybe throw some volts at nb.

Dude..600mhz with 4GB...is too high, is not easy, keep trying...:p:

do u have a turbo cash, 2t dispatch or bandwidth boost setting, it should have on or off with the x38 and it kills stability with 1150mhz+

abits bios doesnt give those options:down:

the board behaves a bit weird anyway with ram oc's, with 2 gb I got 600 cas 5 just fine (takes 2,4v though) and at ~605 stability goes nuts no matter how much volt, cas 4 550 works though which is a bit weird, I mean normally the difference between max clock cas 4 and 5 would be bigger.

its the same here, i was thinking that it acts like gkx (x38/48 dont like c5 gkx) so ive just been using c4 in 1:1 it gets better everest scores allround so i never realy cared to figure it out
