ok heres the deal:
I know someone thats selling a opteron 148, K8N Neo4-F 1.0, and a EVGA 6800GS PCI-E. all from a system from 2005.
and i was wondering what would be a fair price for each one of these items? i had some old parts laying around and wanted to make a cheap setup with these and maybe these parts. i also have a 3200+ E6 Venice that i found in a CPU stash that my dad had, and he said i could have it. I dont plan on using anything else cept a stock fan. i have a 450 watt PSU with 2 12v rails rated at 20amps each. so i was wondering, is it worth buying the opteron over my current 3200+? i can give batch and other numbers if needed? also like i asked, what would be a fair price for these parts? I am planning to overclock this somewhat as well. also wondering how well that mobo works with overclocking.
