What do you want to use this rig for ? will you do any OC'ing ? budget ? Correct type of ram to be used ?

I can heartly recommend the Thermalright Ultra 120 or eXtreme coolers.. work fab....

Buy a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme and buy a silent 120mm fan (Scythe or similar) to the cooler.

If you go for DDR2 you can get 4gigs for halft the price of DDR3 plus you can buy a cheaper mobo which allows you to put some more money in the Vidcard as really an ATI 2600XT is a no go for games... better go straight for 3870 512Mb mate, NVidia 8800GTS 512...

Power supply the OCZ 600 Watt GameXtream, I have built many of them and really they are pretty good bang for the buck...

I would go for this Config

Asus P5K premium
Intel Q6600 OEM ( no boxed cooler )
Thermalright Ultra 120 or eXtreme cooler + 120mm fan
2 or 4gig PC6400 DDR 2 ram
ATI 3870 512 or 8800GT 512
OCZ 600 watt GameXtream

This will be a better performing and cheaper config than what you had in mind... If gaming is what ya want to do no need to shell out on DDR3 and co and then cut in the GFX department... better more in GFX then in Mobo and ram...

On the box or on the CPU it should be mentioned SLACR then you are okay, or just ask ya shop... B3 are very rare to find in stock... but like on Ebay you can still encounter them...
