Ok so I grabbed the cool tap threader from McMasters. This should allow me to tap the Microres top for the EK barbs...however I need a Tap Wrench that can handle this puppy.

Problem 1...two different hardware stores down here...both were not able to come up with a hand wrench solution for this. In fact they were extremely stumped as they sell taps close to this with the same sized top square section and yet couldn't figure out what someone would do with them once they bought them since they didn't sell anything that could then be used to turn them

I am not a tool guy by nature. I wish to be...please enlighten me. What do I need? Where can I get it? Help!

Couldn't you just clamp an adjustable wrench or a pair of vice grips onto the tap end to turn it?

Acording to the specs an 11.2mm drill will fit the bit in the chock. I would highly recommend a selectable speed drill and set it to the lowest torque and speed avail. If that's not avail most standard british drills will do the job just be very easy (IE slow) on the trigger. A touch of gear oil while tapping never hurts either. Hope that helps mate.

edit** damn my in-laws are awake it seems ;)

If you have a drill press with 1/2 chuck, this is likely the "best low cost" option. If you want the proper handle, "2546A15" @ Mcmaster. There are a couple lower priced options on that same page but I'm unsure if they will work.
