help with sound please.

I have creative labs 5.1 speakers and using the onboard sound with the nf7-s board. when I go to the nvidia sound tray and test botton I get all speakers to make sound, Center, sub, rear L, rear R, LF and RF. but when I play the sample in MIDI I dont get the center speaker. Also in the games I play I get no center speaker.
Granted I am no good when it comes to sound. Hope you can help!!
Are the samples and the games dont support it or what?

I also have this problem when I play tribes 2 after I reinstalled the nforce driver's and it set it back to the default I forgot what I had done to fix it so untill I get to messing around with it and figure out what I did to fix it I hope you can figure it out.

I believe you need to toggle on "Create Center Channel" on the nForce Media tray.
