Hi, i have a MSI P6N SLI v2 that has the nforce 650i chipset, as far as i know it works practically the same for overclocking as the 680i, cuz it uses the same northbridge.

I wanna know if my E2160 (revision M0 - D), i can oc it up to 3Ghz , just that with no vcore changes.

This motherboard has 4 regulation phases.

Is this possible?

I will be using an OCZ SystemElite 667mhz 1GB.

Also, i would like to know if this edition, despite the changes like no having parallel port, etc. Overclocks like the V1 ? that would be the P6n SLI-F, I have been told that is exactly the same, but im just in doubt.

What i know for sure is that the P6N SLI-F , the main problem it has is the overheating northbridge, but here is my doubt... Check the 2 editions northbridge:

P6N SLI-F northbridge:

It appears like the V2 is a better re-designed heatsink, maybe being a new revision they fixed the overheating problem... can be?

Well, i guess that is all...

hoping for some util info...

Many thanks!
