BIOS resets itself whenever I try to overclock the FSB.
I KNOW my CPU (E6300) can handle upto 2.8GHz with no voltage adjustment.
This is how scenario goes..
1. I power up the PC and go into BIOS menu
2. I adjust the FSB and overclock my CPU. I enter "Save and Exit"
3. PC reboot after BIOS adjustment, goes into Win Vista just fine.
4. Everything works fine up until this point. Until I reboot or shutdown my computer.
5. Once I reboot, when it is at the screen showing CPU info, BIOS version, ect..it reboot itself again and resets all my BIOS back to default.
How do I fix this? Any tips?
Intel Conroe 1.86Ghz
Gigabyte DS-3 rev 1.0
2GB corsair RAM
Geforce 7950GT
Antec 480watt PSU
Sound Blaster X-Fi
