Hi Yellowbeard,
I bought the RAM fan for my 8500C5D and hooked it up without a problem. However I was doing some school work when I heard a loud crash come from my PC. It seems one of the small metal washers that looks to be only pressed onto the back plate of the metal bracket (so you have something to screw the small screw into) broke off and the fan hit the side window of my case. No damage done :) I contacted Newegg where I bought it, the RMA page states that it's a replaceable item for 1 year, but they said they could not replace it and to contact Corsair. So I'm wondering if it's covered under a warranty of some kind? The purchase date is around the middle of November of 2007. Thanks

EDIT* I know it's only $25 or so but I expected it to last a little longer than a few months.
