XtremeSystems is about to be passed by Team-Goobee.org, which consists solely of one individual sloth.

 That's even better than vaio's :dog: POEM@home psychology!

Actually, looks like we got passed twice. :shakes:

Edit: Hehe, it's literally one Sloth on that team.

Enough of a blow that I actually registered at mersenne rather than try to use someone else's name. :p:

This is our nemesis:

.......................SLOTH
(Note the smug expression, mocking us.)

My posts are being instatly deleted on mersenne.org. Even though:

You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may post attachments
You may edit your posts

I've PM the guy that does the updating there. If I still can't get added to the XS team, I'll pull out. My dislike for projects requiring manual intervention by multiple individuals has been reaffirmed.

On a positive note, my little teamless self is second using only Quad(sig), right behind Sloth in the dailies.

Nice going Palidin! I just saw we were up 400 points in the vault. Went to PRP and there you were. I just put 1 core on it to help.

Thanks Glenn. Yeah, Lars manually added me to the team. He says the reason my posts don't show is that even after I confirm my email by clicking the link that was sent, it then requires the mersenne forum admin to manually reconfirm it even though there is no mention of this anywhere.

To recap:

LLRNet automatically reserves ranges, pulls ranges, and sends results
Users must manually sign up at mersenne.org
Users must manually confirm their email
Users must have their confirmation email manually confirmed by the admin
Users must manually request to be added to a team

No wonder there are only FIVE people currently active (http://stats.free-dc.org/new/projpage.php?proj=psp_p) on this project in the entire world.

I added a couple more cores, but the Linux client doesn't seem to like Ubuntu64 so I couldn't add four more.

I'm not sure how you come up with only five people active on this project. I come up with 23 people active in the last 30 days.

By clicking the link I provided on the word "active". Top-right stats box is Users->Today. When I posted that message there were five people who had returned results that day, hence "five currently active in the world". Dramatic, but true.

By the time I followed your link there were ten people active. Since it only shows ten there was no way to know if there were ten, or more. It turns out that there were only ten people active yesterday.

Noticed Paladin started working on PSP so thought I would look for a forum thread. It is nice to be noticed.
It is a hard project to guess how many people are active on since there are 2 clients. Only 1 of them is networked so you will see people uploading finished work once or twice a month. I expect you will see more people submitting work to the project over the next couple months. The teams in front of me don't like to get passed.

Ah, yeah, I overlooked that there are people using the manual LLR (no-net) client which end up on the same stats page.

If you could get all 9 of these people back producing.......

There are only 12 to 24 people currently active on this project.

If you look back over the last 375 days, this team is second only to ARS in average daily production

Has any one heard of LLRNet ever reporting a false prime:confused:

Sloth has found a prime: 265711*2^4858008+1 is prime!

For more details see: http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=10189

@Paladin,
What happened?

POEM@Home challenge week. And now bouncing around recovering team positions lost from the diversion of resources.
:cheer2:
"Jeszcze XtremeSystems nie zginęła/umarła" (XtremeSystems is not yet lost/dead) to paraphrase the motto that goes with your avatar. ;)

"Jeszcze XtremeSystems nie zginęła/umarła" (XtremeSystems is not yet lost/dead) to paraphrase the motto that goes with your avatar. ;)
And the next phrase is:
"What the foreign powers have taken away, we will take back by the sword!"

I look forward to XtremeSystems challenging for the lead again.

You'll have to forgive me for not trying to write it in Polish, since I am not sure of the spelling. I just remember singing the Hymn.
