Good job buddy! I would try again at slightly lower v-core if possible. 1.63 is alot for 4ghz. also grab cpu-z 1.44.1 so you can get that validated, 4gb at cas 4 and 900 mhz is pretty good! I'm not too familiar with that board but shouldn't you be using the molex plug beside the dimms to give the board a more stable power supply?

pretty nice clocks with air cooling  did you test the max fsb of your chip

Vcore isn't that bad for e6600 cpu's at 4ghz. I've seen much and much worse. What is the stepping/batch code?

Well, i didn't check the batch code.
About the max FSB, i might check sometime...

great clock and voltage,my need 1.6 V for 3.6 ghz

This one does 3.6Ghz with less than 1.5V.

Very impressive OC results

Very well done!
I wish my E6600 could do that.

Will you test it under more "extreme" cooling methods?

Nope

TT SonicTower with AS5.

What kind of cooler is that?

sonic tower + 2 or 3 fans
btw do you get much better temps with more fans?

Reminds me mine and Coolaler's one but with less vcore :)

Still running it :p:

With the push fans i get 3-4c drop in temps.

Definetively an above-average E6600...
That reminds me of my old E6600, which didn't do >3.5 Ghz even at ~1.58V @air. Leastwise he did 3 Ghz @1.3V
Luckily I have a nice Q9300 now. :D

Shi(f)t B2 and 4Ghz With Air :S i have one E6600 also B2 and it needs almost 1.7 @4Ghz With Water :p

well done :)

Using aircooling for benchmarking is often better then watercooling, because aircooling can be more influenced with cold air.
I could get my e6400 over 4ghz with aircooling and cold air, but not with watercooling. Still my watercooling is allot better for 24/7 then my air Tuniq tower.

Impressive  . Also running a B2 here and no matter what I do I cannot even take this chip to 3.8. This is with high-performance liquid cooling. Even at 1.65V it cannot complete super-pi... same for 3DMark06. I guess it all depends on the chip.

another happy E6600 B2 owner here. mine is running at 3.2Ghz at 1.325v for the past year. can run super pi at 3.8ghz @ 1.53v. i am still on stock heatsink, so don't want to push my luck any further. gigabyte p965 dq6 is the motherboard with F11 bios and an El Cheapo brand 1gb stick of 800mhz ddr2 ram running at 5-5-5-17. :D
