View Full Version : Number of Rads Question??
I currently have a 240 and a 360 rad cooling a e8400 and a 8800gtx.
Temps are 41c GPU and 33c CPU at idle with an ambient temp of about 24c.
Would this be sufficient to add NB/SB and mosfets cooling to or should a add another rad or seperate loop?
Thanks,
Mel

SB and Nb -yes , Except Mosfets .
i wouldn't recomment to put on mosfet even if you plan to add radiators

The primary issue with NB, SB, and mosfet coolers is usually restriction more than the heat dump. If you have a monster pump you might toy with the idea of fitting them in your current loop(s?), but most would run a smaller ID loop to cool these guys.

I do not think they add very much restriction. I added two EK MOSFET blocks and two MCW30s to my loop and my flow rate only decreased by 5%.
Thanks for the replies guys!
I'm going to try it in the same loop and see how it goes.

I hope you'll tell us about the temps increase :P

Whatever.....
mele,
Here are some of my flow testing results. Many people speak here without doing any real testing to back-up there opinions.

Snyxxx,
Thanks for that informative link...I had forgotten that I have read it already.
That's the info I was loking for. What about temps?
