Has anyone benched to see if there is a difference between the dtek fuzion with nozzles vs the ek supreme?

nikhsub1 is supposed to start testing the EK Supreme any day now.

I am working on it at this moment in my spare time. Temperature wise, the Supreme is slightly cooler by about 1 deg C (at least on the Q6600 and QX9650 at 3.2 GHz and 4.0 GHz, respectively) as long as the Fuzion is NOT equipped with any nozzles. But the Fuzion maintains a rather higher flow with no nozzles in comparison to the Supreme. With nozzles, the temps for the Fuzion are ~1-3 deg C better than the Supreme with still slightly better flow (although about equal with the 4.5 mm nozzle).

When I have finished up (another week or so), I will try to post full results here at XS

Bottom Line: As many others have noted, the Supreme is a great block for cooling quad cores but best when used alone. The Fuzion on the other hand is great for multi-block loops.

Hope this helps,
Jay

But the overall consensus is that a fuzion with nozzles outperforms an ek by(1-2c?)

As far as i know they are using the same design !!
and i understand that if you have a good pump (D5) the nozzles doesn't
affect at all - Am i wrong ???
