What vcore are you people running you processors with prommy mach 1..?

Right now I've set it to 1.65V, which in windows gives me between 1.55 and 1.68.
That's some SERIOUS fluctuations!!! What to do?

Secondly, I only reach 3.42GHz stable, which seems low to me for this cooling.

2.4C
Prommy1
IC7-G, vdimm modded, zalman nb hs
Corsair 3200 1Gb

Its a matter of the proc, some people run theres at 1.8 and have no probs, but ive known quite a few people that have had SNDS at anything over 1.7. You might have reached the limit of that chip. I know that major slauter had just around that on phase change also. And if your going for a big oc, dont get 1 gig of ram.

Ive noticed everyone using MAX 512MB Ram.
Im running 2x512Mb PC2100 @ 333Mhz atm.
The RAM is stable upto 360Mhz but fails higher.
Im running an nForce board with dual enabled.
Shall I sacrifice dual-channel and run 1 512mb stick, or scrap my 1gb and buy 2x256Mb?
Will it make much of a difference?
Thanks...

buy 2x 256. The max oc i could get with this 3.2 with 1 gb was 3.9, returned it and got 512, 4.3. Same type of ram. same voltage.

Id say 1.7 or 1.725 is the highest I would go

its up to you though

Wow pretty big difference just from Ram.
Ill scrap the 1Gb then :D
Thanks :D

Well, _my_ RAM isn't the problem...

I guess I could try 1.7 - 1.725 or something...
This heavy undervolting will bring it down some at least...

How do you figure that the ram isnt holding you back?

Because I can run up to 280FSB at 5:4 ratio ~225 MEM
with the 3:2 ratio I would be able to run at 335FSB before the memory says stop.

just check if more voltage really helps you.

When you tried this, did you try a single stick of 512 ? Did it produce the same cpu overclock as the 2x256 ?
